Horrible Event

There was an unhappy woman at the ticket booths yelling at people not to go in because it was horrible--I should have listened. All of the advertising made it seem like most everything inside was free--NOT TRUE. Most of the rides and attractions cost at least $4 each. A bottle of water or soda was $4.25. The small petting zoo was $4 for a parent to get in with their child. The only thing free were the various stage shows and vendor booths. It was highly unorganized as well. The one thing I really wanted my kids to do was ice skate--it turned out that the "ice rink" wasn't real ice (fine, I can deal with that), but the "tickets" were given out by the time we got there at noon. I really don't understand what my $25 entrance fee (2 adults, 2 kids) got me. In addition, my stroller was stolen minutes after we got there (as my kids were painting ceramics at a booth--the stroller was only 6 feet away). Security was present, but had no idea how to handle a report of a theft (I didn't see a police presence at all--surprising for such a large event). All in all, a VERY disappointing experience.
