Following a SOLD OUT performance last May, The Swell Season returns to Radio City Music Hall on January 19 with special guest Josh Ritter.

The Swell Season consists of the Oscar winning duo Glen Hansard (from the Irish band The Frames) and Marketa Irglova (classically trained Czech pianist and vocalist). Their latest album Strict Joy, the follow up to their Once film and soundtrack, is set to release on October 27.

The Swell Season is a collaboration between Irish musician Glen Hansard and Czech singer and pianist Marketa Irglova. The self-titled disc is the first album that Hansard, the singer for The Frames, has released independently of his band.
