Chef Adrian Yap is a busy guy. He owns and operates Lilly's Grill & Bar in Queen Creek (formerly Queen Creek Café). Born in Hawaii, Adrian has been in the food and beverage business since age 14. His impressive resume includes stints as the executive sous chef for Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, opening the Coyote Cantina & Bakery in Beverly Hills for basketball star Shawn Kemp, opening restaurants for other celebrity ball players in Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Nashville as well as previously owning Adrian's Park Place Bakery & Grill in Gilbert. After Nashville, his wife Lynette, a native Arizonan, decided it was time to go home and they opened Lilly's this past April. In his spare time Adrian does special event catering including meals for four of the six Arizona Fall League Baseball teams and Spring Training teams to include the Cubs, Rangers and A's.
